2026 RASA Conference

17th RASA Conference

Dedicated to Academician Andrei Sakharov, the 17th RASA International Conference will take place on November 7–8, 2026, at Northwestern University, IL.

The Conference Program Committee has held its first meeting and appointed coordinators for the conference’s disciplinary sections. The program will include sessions in the natural sciences, engineering and technology, the humanities, and the social sciences, as well as roundtable discussions on current issues at the intersection of science and society, including the impact of artificial intelligence. The conference will also provide ample opportunities for professional networking and the development of new scientific collaborations.

As in previous years, special attention will be given to the participation of students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists.

The working language of the conference is Russian.

Participation is free of charge. Registration will open at a later date. In the meantime, we encourage you to save the dates in your calendar!

RASA 2025 Travel Grants

RASA will award two grants of up to $1,000 each to subsidize conference expenses (travel, lodging, etc.) for U.S.-based junior scholars and graduate students in the fields of math, physics, chemistry, biology, and other natural sciences. Applicants do not have to be current members of the association.
