Russian-American Science Association (RASA) invites applications by advanced PhD students and early career scholars for travel grants to attend the 16th annual Russian American Science Association (RASA) conference on November 15-16, 2025 in New Brunswick, NJ. The conference will commemorate the 175th anniversary of Sofya Kovalevskaya—the first woman in the world to earn a doctorate in mathematics and to hold a professorship in Europe.RASA will award two grants of up to $1,000 each to subsidize conference expenses (travel, lodging, etc.) for U.S.-based junior scholars and graduate students in STEMM, humanities and social sciences. Applicants do not have to be current members of the association.
