Novosibirsk State University has named a School after Prof. Vladimir Zelman
On April 23rd, 2018, the Governing and Scientific Boards of the Novosibirsk State University has named their School of Medicine and Psychology after Professor Vladimir Zelman. M.D., Ph.D..
Professor Zelman, currently at the University of Southern California, is a graduate of the Novosibirsk School of Medicine who has dedicated his career to the medical specialties of anesthesiology and critical care. He is a scientist-physician and a distinguished and generous mentor contributing to academia and health sector both in Russia and United States. For more than 40 years Vladimir Zelman has served the medical profession with excellence and distinction. His efforts have greatly contributed to improvement of health on a global scale and promoted growth of understanding and collaboration between Russian and American physicians.
Prof. V. Zelman has been a recipient of the 2016 RASA-America George Gamow Award. He is also a current member of RASA-America coordinating committee and a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
