M.D., Ph.D..<\/p>\n<p>Professor\u00a0Zelman, currently at the University of Southern California,\u00a0is a graduate of the Novosibirsk School of Medicine who\u00a0has dedicated his career\u00a0to the medical specialties of anesthesiology and critical care. He is a scientist-physician and\u00a0a distinguished\u00a0and generous mentor\u00a0contributing to academia and health sector\u00a0both in Russia and United States. For more than 40 years Vladimir\u00a0Zelman has served the medical\u00a0profession\u00a0with\u00a0excellence and distinction.\u00a0His efforts have\u00a0greatly contributed to improvement of health on a global scale\u00a0and promoted\u00a0growth of understanding and collaboration\u00a0between Russian and American physicians.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. V. Zelman has been a\u00a0recipient of the 2016 RASA-America George Gamow Award.
