We are delighted to invite you to the 17th RASA International Conference<\/strong>, which will take place on November 7-8, 2026<\/strong>, at Northwestern University<\/strong> in Chicago.<\/p>\n Continuing RASA’s tradition of dedicating each annual conference to an outstanding Russian-speaking scientist, the 2026 conference will honor Andrei Sakharov<\/strong>\u2014a brilliant physicist, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, and an enduring symbol of intellectual courage and integrity.<\/p>\n The conference will feature presentations spanning a broad range of disciplines, from the humanities and social sciences to STEMM. In addition to scientific talks, the program will include roundtable discussions on pressing contemporary issues, including the impact of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence on science, education, and society.<\/p>\n As always, the conference is designed to foster lively intellectual exchange and create new professional connections. We especially encourage students, postdoctoral researchers, and other early-career scientists to participate. One of the unique strengths of RASA conferences is their interdisciplinary nature, providing participants with opportunities to explore ideas beyond their own fields, initiate new collaborations, strengthen their science communication skills, and engage with distinguished scholars across a wide range of disciplines. The conference also offers valuable opportunities for mentoring and informal career discussions.<\/p>\n The official language of the conference is Russian<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The conference will be chaired by Dr. Tatiana Tatarinova<\/strong>, Jones Endowed Chair in Computational Biology. Dr. Anna I. Krylov<\/strong>, President-Elect of RASA, will serve as Program Co-Chair.<\/p>\n Please save the date and plan to join us.
