The conference will commemorate the <strong data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"535\">175th anniversary of Sofya Kovalevskaya<\/strong>\u2014the first woman in the world to earn a doctorate in mathematics and to hold a professorship in Europe.<\/main>RASA will award two grants of up to $1,000 each to subsidize conference expenses (travel, lodging, etc.) for U.S.-based junior scholars and graduate students in STEMM, humanities and social sciences. Applicants do not have to be current members of the association.<\/p>\n<p>Apply <a href=\"https:\/\/rasa-usa.org\/en\/application-form-rasa-travel-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Application should be submitted by\u00a0<strong>October 5, 2025 deadline<\/strong>.
